Electrical Insulation materials, Structural materials, and Pressure vessel for the Reverse Osmosis
(Desalination and water purifying).
[Characteristics]
Lightweight. Excellent in electrical insulation, corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.
For the pressure vessel, our vessel is applicable to 8.2MPa(1200PSI)

Arisawa is only one ASME certificate holder of the FRP pressure vessel in Japan.

Electrical Insulation materials (Rod), Structural materials (Rod, Channel)
[Characteristics]
Pultrusion is a one of the FRP manufacturing method that the glass, carbon or Kevlar fiber is impregnated thermo plastic resin (for ex. Epoxy, Unsaturated polyester and Vinyl-ester resin) by resin bath and cured by the die mold. This pultruded FRP is fixed cross section shape by the die mold.
For example, in case of L-channel, that is supplied as same as aluminum L-angle.
The cross section shape is "L" shape and it supplied with unit length (constant length).
In addition of below table, the cross section is "Dog bone", this is applicable for the coil spacer.
This pultrusion material provides electrical insulation, high corrosion resistance, and also high mechanical strength due to its high Vf(GF50%, CF70%).
Excellent bending (flexural) strength is achievable at three point beam test along the longitudinal direction.

  Compression Molding Products


[Application]
Interior materials for air-craft (Secondly structural materials and Honey-comb sandwich pane), Glass epoxy-phenol press laminate, Carbon epoxy-phenol press laminate.
[Characteristics]
Honey-comb sandwich panel is lightweight, consisting of the core layer as the honey-comb and sandwich layer (skin layer) as the FRP (GFRP, CFRP) layers. The panel achieved excellent high-strength, flame retardancy, and heat insulation.
Arisawa has three core technologies, weaving, impregnating and molding, so we can optimize the mechanical properties and other properties of Honey-comb sandwich panel and the press laminate by our considered materials, process, machine and measurement.

  Cryogenic Cooling Vessel


[Application]
Cryostat made of GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) for Magnetoencephalography.
[Characteristics]
A cryostat (cryogenic cooling system) is a non-magnetic apparatus which contains liquid helium(-269 deg C) in a vessel.
The construction of vessel is double structure made of GFRP with special insulating material. This is aiming to prevent a radiant heat, heat conduction or transfer(convection flow).
