X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF)
One of a method to analyze elements in a sample.
An analyzer of which analyze elements or components by detecting fluorescence X-ray emitted from a sample(solid or liquid) while X-ray irradiation. The analysis can be carried with non-destructive of sample and able to analyze several milimeter depth.
There are 2 types of methods, "Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS)" & "Wavelength Dispersive Spectroscopy (WDS)" .
・"Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS)" simultaneously detects all of detectable elements which are present in a analyte in short time.
・"Wavelength Dispersive Spectroscopy (WDS)" has high resolution performance , therefore enables the accurate and precise quantification of elements in a sample.
