	The Company adopted at the Board of Directors' meeting of the Company held on May 23, 2008, a resolution on cancellation of the treasury stocks under the provision of Article 178 of the Corporation Law and we hereby notify you as follows. 1. Type of stocks to be cancelled: Common stocks of the Company 2. Number of shares to be cancelled: 1,557,505 shares (Ratio to the total number of outstanding shares before cancellation: 4.26%) 3. Cancellation amount: ¥3,211,749,418 4. Scheduled cancellation date: June 27, 2008 In this regard, cancellation of the treasury stocks shall be carried out on condition that the reversal of the contingency reserve shall be approved by the 60th general meeting of shareholders to be held on June 27, 2008.
